Make My Ride (“we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect when you use the site and how that data is used. Last updated: September 2026.
Information we collect
When you book a cab we collect your name, email, phone number, pickup address, travel dates, passenger count and payment identifiers (Razorpay order / payment id). Contact form messages are stored so the operations team can reply.
How we use it
- Confirm bookings and allot a driver
- Collect and reconcile advance or full payments
- Send trip updates and handle support calls
- Understand route demand so we can add new city pairs
We do not sell personal data. Drivers receive only the details needed to complete the trip (name, phone, pickup).
Payments
Cards, UPI and net banking are handled by Razorpay. We do not store full card numbers — only payment reference IDs for reconciliation.
Cookies
A session cookie is used for admin login and the booking form. We do not currently run marketing trackers.
Your rights
To request a copy of your booking, a correction or deletion, write to hello@makemyride.com. Some records may be retained for a legally required period while a trip is active, for safety reasons.
